If you define courage as misleading Senators to get confirmed, then yeah that took “courage.”
Alito’s decision saying Roe was “egregiously wrong from the start” is not what he said during his confirmation. If he told the truth about his views, he would not have been confirmed.
I don’t think “originally” corporations were people, or presidents had immunity, or agencies couldn’t make “major” rules, or Congress couldn’t set terms of office.
What a joke.
The person who calls Black women “dogs” and “animals” is on Air Force One.
But tune in Sunday to the national media asking democrats about Hasan Piker on every Sunday show.
Each election year, the U.S. Postal Service (USPS) takes extra steps to ensure ballots sent through the mail arrive at election offices on time. This year, it’s delaying those efforts. https://t.co/tXZrAu3rpl
History lesson: House democratic judiciary chairman Peter Rodino hired 2 GOP lawyers to lead the Nixon watergate probe. The vote to impeach was bipartisan. The Supreme Court voted 8-0 to turn over the White House tapes. GOP senators Barry Goldwater & Hugh Scott told Nixon he would be convicted so he resigned. As Pres Ford said, our long national nightmare was over.
NEW: President Trump directly told Russ Vought to find the funds to finance the ads glorifying him. The agency’s general counsel and WH counsel both signed off on the move as legal. The president and WH chief of staff spoke to the DHS secretary. https://t.co/U4zWDOqJbx
This is a good example of how the White House arrived at its “$11 trillion” figure in supposed “investments” this Trump term— a lot of turning vague non-commitments into supposed specific investments. (Trump himself then added an extra $10 trillion based on nothing.)
"Trump and Blanche built this scheme to keep any judge from getting a look at it. Now one has; she doesn’t like what she sees; and she’s just getting started." My latest: https://t.co/BLyML3v4ws
The Department of Homeland Security is spending $20 million in blatantly political ads promoting Trump in the weeks before the midterms.
The @VP wants to ferret out "the waste, fraud and abuse."
