Ospreys are delighted to announce that they have signed a new Professional Rugby Agreement (PRA25) with the @WelshRugbyUnion.

The agreement, which runs until the end of the 27/28 season, signals a period of stability for the Region.

A key element of the new agreement is that it provides for greater collaboration with the WRU, including growth of alignment on the playing side in particular.

With work now underway at Ospreys’ new stadium at St. Helen’s, and now the signing of the PRA, the Region is looking forward to continuing its proud history as a key player in Welsh rugby.

Dan John joins the Ospreys 🖤

A talented utility back capable of playing at centre and across the back three, John joined the Chiefs Academy in 2020. He went on to make his senior debut in March 2021, coming off the bench in an Exeter victory over the Leicester Tigers, and has made 33 appearances for the Gallagher Premiership outfit.

The Welshman is a quick-footed speedster with an eye for the tryline and has featured for Wales at u20s, u19s and u18s.

Felix Gall has decided… he will transfer to LIDL-Trek, Mülhberger will come with him.

Gazzetta mentioned a week ago, that Felix Gall received an offer from Lidl-Trek, and now HLN confirms that he has already decided to leave becoming GC number 2 after Seixas in Decathlon to Lidl-Trek.

He will also bring his Austrian domestique Gregor Mühlberger, who was very good at this Giro. HLN also confirms Jordi Meuss will come.

So now the team will have all Ayuso, Gee, Skjelmose & Gall fighting for GC. So what now with Ciccone? Well according to rumours he might break his contract (until 2027) and leave the team early. But where? That is currently unknown, but it definitely won’t be in some superteam.

Kian Hire signs new deal with the Ospreys 🏉

Hire is a physical tighthead who has already made nine appearances for the Ospreys, despite only being 21.

A product of the Ospreys development pathway, Hire made his debut for the club against the Lions in South Africa in the 24-25 season, with many being impressed with his impact against a tough opposition.
