Don't be afraid to do nothing
The travel stereotype is to visit the Taj Mahal, the Eiffel Tower, Macchu Picchu and the statue of Liberty in under 48 hours without stops
But you don't have to live by that stereotype
Instead, just do as much as you want and you can handle
You never know what a conversation will lead to
A connection, a recommendation, a lesson, an experience, a mutual benefit or just a smile and increase in your mood and wellbeing
If you're traveling on a budget, hostels are your best bet
Cheap accomodation, low barrier to entry for meeting travelers and learning about your destination are much easier in a hostel
Learning compounds
In other words, it doesn't get easier the second time, it gets SOOOOO much easier the second time, and barely without any effort even the third time
The number one lesson from traveling is to just go.
Book the flight, and just go. You will discover what you need, what is most optimal, what is essential and what is unnecessary while you are actually moving.
Learning is what makes us human
It is so much fun to be able to tackle a challenge with much greater ease because you went through the struggle the first time
