Sting's VIractal added the protagonist of Baroque as a guest character.
Meaning there is a non-zero chance that Mag or Linear from Evolution can be added.

Evolution: The World of Sacred Device was out 26 years ago (1999)! A cute dungeon crawler investigating ancient tech with giant mech weapons (and aptly named cast like Mag Launcher and Gre Nade). Released as a bundle with games 1+2 on Gamecube.

@sacredmateria I prefer DS, especially once I learned that they cut a lot of dialogue from the game, which is where most of the personality went.
I also feel the OKs were in a somewhat awkward spot of having dialogue, yet no identity.

I like how the Final fantasy III manga adaptation removes the part where Noah gave Xande mortality and just made him a greedy jackass.

The Cloud of Darkness isn't even in this adaptation, this is 100% Xande being evil.
Unei flat out says that he can't love other people anymore and he's not even human as a result.
