Was driving north on 57 just south of Tuscola around noon today, sky’s green & whipping gnarly wind & heavy rain. Sirens going off. We saw a mile-wide dark wall to our left rolling east right towards the highway. Had we been a mile back we would’ve drove right into the tornado
Tornado on ground approaching Philo as it seems, also a tornado on ground south of Tuscola, a person reported a funnel above their house about 10-15 minutes ago. Tornado warnings in effect for the following areas : Urbana, IL, Tolono, IL, Homer, IL, Tuscola, IL, Arcola, IL.
@rushicrypto To put it in perspective, keeping these systems running smooth and efficient for all of us. If they scale up, operation costs skyrocket and we see even higher streaming costs. If they corrode and fail, there’s downtime, outages, etc. If bacteria grows unchecked, LEGIONARIES
@rushicrypto Grey water use is possible w/ softening, UV, and RO, and a robust chemical treatment package (chems still needed for fresh water programs). If done properly, it’s also possible to recycle the cooling tower bleed off for other use, such as irrigation, to minimize overall H2O use
@peteyburn Cook up a fart, lean forward like you are about to fall over, kick your leg out & use that to quickly put you in a running motion. Simultaneously release the gas to propel you forward. Also helps knock out any nearby competitors.
* important to shit before using this technique
@Dr_Love2617@nickwoj98 No, there are millions of people who have come to the US illegally since the fucking Mayflower, I’m not arguing that. This county was built on “illegal” immigration. The issue is with how people are being inhumanely treated in the crass deportation process.
@Dr_Love2617@nickwoj98 Abducting our neighbors who have been working here for decades with no criminal history. They’re going after people at their jobs, at immigration offices doing their paperwork, at schools. If it must exist, it needs to be a much more humane process.
