The sport isn’t popular in America but the Americans that do watch it probably know more about the sport than the average football fan in any other country because we actually have to seek it out intentionally where as the rest of the world is born into it
🚨 BREAKING?
I'm pretty certain I've figured out who Newcastle's imminent front of shirt sponsor is.
Not proud of how I found this 🤣 some real crazy ex, stalker-type detective work…
I found Newcastle's Head of Partnership Development on LinkedIn and noticed that exactly 1 month before the KNOX training ground deal was announced, he had liked a post from KNOX.
So I used that as a blueprint 👀
Checked his recent liked posts - BARQ, HUMAIN and WHOOP stood out. After digging into each, I ruled out BARQ and HUMAIN for various reasons.
WHOOP kept stacking up so I looked further into them.
Newcastle are already connected to a company called IMG via a company we have a partnership with - Endeavor Streaming - IMG are a global sports marketing company who have previously operated in the same commercial ecosystem as WHOOP and are used by football clubs to partner companies with them for deals such as this, essentially outsourcing finding a sponsor.
On top of that, WHOOP have just signed partnerships with PSG and Al Nassr - they're aggressively pushing into elite football right now.
I then found an X account - let's call them "Genuine ITK" - A well established NUFC associated account; the type to genuinely get info like this early. Checked their following list. Two notable company follows: KNOX & WHOOP 👀
There's a site where you can check the 5 most recently followed accounts on any public Instagram profile. Checked "Genuine ITK"s IG account on there.
Their 2 most recent follows? WHOOP and WHOOP's CEO.
WHOOP as Newcastle's front of shirt sponsor for 2026/27. I could be completely wrong but I've never been more confident about anything NUFC related in my life 🤣

75 out of the 1,248 players who will play in the upcoming World Cup were born in France, but will represent other national teams.
Together with France’s own squad, that’s almost 100 players in the tournament who were born in France. That’s about 8% of all World Cup players. Insane.
There is no other country that produces more national team players in this tournament than France. Most of them, by the way, come from Paris and its suburbs.
SQUAD CONFIRMED: Introducing your CommBank #Socceroos who will represent Australia at the #FIFAWorldCup 🇦🇺
