👏🏽 Helping our partners clear the roads! GPD traffic unit worked alongside SCDOT this morning to direct vehicles so DOT plows could clear interstate ramps. The roads are improving, but still icy. We encourage you to stay home until streets are safe to drive.

GPD officers are on scene on I-85 South just before exit 48 (Laurens Rd) investigating a fatal collision involving a vehicle vs pedestrian.

Motorists should expect delays while our reconstruction team conducts the investigation. Please use an alternate route if possible.
