Officers and responded to Haywood Mall just after 1 p.m. for reports of gunshots fired. They found two gunshot wound victims. The injured victims were transported to the hospital. Multiple people are in custody. The scene is active, but contained.

Both victims are in stable condition.
One of the individuals who fired a weapon has been arrested; he is 17 years old. Detectives are still working to identify the other individuals who discharged firearms.

A @RideGreenlink bus arrived for people to wait in and stay cool. The mall is closed for an undetermined amount of time.
