I have learnt with great sorrow the passing of the former Education CS Prof George Magoha, EGH. He was a great academician who stood by what he believed in, he turned around the @ExamsCouncil, @uonbi and the entire MoE.

I held talks with a joint delegation of Konrad Adenaur Foundation (KAS), a #German political party foundation and a group of directors from Belgian investor companies who paid a courtesy visit to my office.

We concluded the @KenyaGovernors induction workshop today with a promise to create synergy amongst the counties. Management skills, capacity building and prudent financial management formed the integral part of the training.

I have joined my colleague Governors and Deputies for an induction training organized by the @KenyaGovernors in Mombasa. We will also hold the first Council meeting and elect the new CoG leadership.

I fellowshipped today with the people of Ainabkoi sub-county and the clergy at an interdenominational gathering at AIC Koilel church, Kaptagat Ward. The prayer service was also meant to pray for our country ahead of Monday's Supreme Court ruling.

Devolution is meant to take services closer to the pple in the most effective way. We shall designate more staff to work at the sub-county and Ward levels, as "Governor wa Raiya" I will focus more on the grassroots. I will be available in the villages more than in my office

Held my first meeting with the county staff at the headquarters grounds, this was an introductory and familiarization meeting. As we settle down, we shall do a staff headcount and a comprehensive human resource audit to ascertain our workforce & rid the county of any ghost worker

Together with my Dep Eng John Barorot, we took our respective Oaths of Office as the 2nd Governor and Deputy of the County Govt Uasin Gishu respectively. I thank my predecessor @GvnMandago for the smooth transition and as promised we will get to work as immediate as possible.
