Just finished my first call with a potential @closrio business.
They’re pre-revenue and still have a lot to figure out.
Could’ve just rejected them and moved on.
Instead, I gave them honest feedback on what they need to improve and where I think they should focus next.
Just because someone isn’t ready today doesn’t mean they won’t be valuable tomorrow.
Help people early. Invest in relationships before there’s anything to gain.

Stop selling 'AI features'.
Sell:
Faster output.
Zero boring tasks.
More free time.
Better business decisions.
People don’t buy technology. They buy the shortcut to the transformation it gives them. AI is just the current vehicle.
@BuildWithxAI Spot on. It's the classic <sell the holes, not the drill> analogy applied to AI. The moment founders start marketing the outcome and bury the <powered by AI> buzzword below the fold, that's where retention and growth actually begin.
@danwestworld The stigma only exists because 90% of coaches sell theories without proof. If you actually deliver measurable ROI for clients, coaching is one of the cleanest business models out there.
@anupamrjp 10x more software, but a huge shift in what developers do. Coding becomes the easy baseline while system architecture, security, and distribution become the real bottlenecks.
@buildwithrajath If time to value takes more than 30 seconds or the output needs heavy editing, people just go back to manual work.
Onboarding templates and pre filled prompts fix half of this.
Be honest:
What is the ONE tool or habit that doubled your productivity this year?
No fluff, just the 1 thing that actually moved the needle.

undervalue your work? Give it away too easily.
Psychology shows we measure value by the effort or price tag required to get it.
Charge more. Demand effort. Watch the perception change.
@nicklaunches Cold outreach, easily.
100 won't move the needle on ads or newsletters, but 50 hyper-targeted DMs with a personalized value offer costs $0 and gets actual feedback/customers.
Here is what I’ve learned about writing effective hooks over the last 14 days 👇
1. Clear > Clever: Generic statements like "Work hard" get ignored. Specific questions about real pain points get replies.
2. Engage with active builders: Dropping value in the replies of accounts with high reach builds trust 10x faster than posting into the void.
3. Format for skimmability: Short lines, clear spacing, and simple English win every time over long paragraphs.
4. Iterate, don't invent: The best content comes from analyzing what top accounts are already doing and adding your own spin.
5. Consistency > Luck: Algorithms reward showing up daily and testing new formats until something sticks.
@byryangambrell Claude is definitely top-tier for copywriting and human-like tone.
If all 20 are great, you queue them up and test them sequentially. Good hooks are useless if you post them all at once.
@ben_sage Cold DMs on X to people actively talking about the problem
Don't pitch the app. Ask for feedback on a solution to their exact pain point. 10 users in 48 hours.
