Ok, you are pressing me here. Are you going to tell me with a straight face that JD's close relationship with Tucker Carlson, who has directly condemned Trump in the worst imaginable terms, and has demonstrably moved left and taken the most bizarre and objectionable positions on darn-near everything, is not relevant and highly concerning here? Correct me if I'm wrong but I don't remember a nyVP ever hanging out with a vocal critic of the president .

Let's not even get into how JD has treated Israel, on at least one occasion I witnessed, as a dependent, unworthy stepchild. Was it necessary to tell them they better watch it because they have only one powerful ally in the world? Was that necessary or appropriate -- or was it just a straight cheap shot and veiled threat? Further, is it appropriate for JD to suggest, in the worst spirit of Groyperism, that his critics might be funded by Israel? That's what Woke Right propagandists and Israel haters say. Is JD unaware of how that comes off?

To call him Woke Right adjacent is charitable, and it's not fabricated. I've almost always been an outspoken supporter of JD but I don't understand some of his actions in the last several months, and now that people are forcing it, I'm going to question them.

And my comments are not, as some have suggested, an effort to subtly prop up Rubio for 2028. That's not how I roll. I am addressing something specific. I'm not even talking about 2028, but if I choose to I will, and if I choose to support Rubio -- should he run -- I'll make no apologies about it.

I don't play games. I state how I feel. My primary motivation here, as it has always been in my political advocacy since I was in high school, is advancing the best interests of the country.

If I were advising JD, and of course I'm not and I'd never be asked, I'd tell him he better distance himself from toxic forces on the right soon -- because he's going to have to eventually, if not now. It's his choice.

It makes no rational sense that she'd block countless smaller accounts and leave the bigger accounts alone.

Unless ...

The only hypothesis I can come up with is that she is playing a game of engagement for profit.
