Mercy Maina Wachinga was found dead in her Lavington apartment nearly a month after her death. What shocks me is this: how can someone disappear for weeks and nobody notice? Not a friend, relative, colleague or neighbour checked in?
I've just Watched a shocking NTV report this evening on Mercy Maina Wachinga.
Her, lavington neighbours first noticed the smell on the 8th. They raised the alarm. Nothing happened.
This week, someone finally went to the police. The door was broken open. She had been dead long enough to decompose.
She left a note: “Stop judging people.” She asked her mum to forgive her. She wanted to be burned or returned to a river because she loved rivers.
A whole month. In Lavington. Did no one check on her?
I don’t blame her. Plenty of us also live quietly, with very few people who would notice if we disappeared.
It’s just sad.
RIP, Mercy.
🚨🗣 Ethan Ampadu: “It's hard to defend against the Chelsea attack. Honestly, I think they might win the domestic treble this season if they continue like this.”
