Last Gang in town. Brilliant UK finale for post-punk’s finest in Kentish Town, London last night. emotional stuff. Maybe even hoping for some sort of competent tribute band that keeps the live flame burning once in a while #gangoffour
Frank Carter impressed as a frontman at @MancAcademy but you don’t want be doing this sort of crowdsurfing in your 60s #SexPistols Good gig despite some doubts to follow up another night of punk at Artisan Tap #Stoke where veteran rocker #TVSmith kept his moves firmly on stage
@PaulAbbandonato Pity the B international is no longer a thing as it could have buried this PR disaster. @FAWales fools to arrange a game like this at short notice and Page for not including some experience in starting XI
@DenbighTownFC @Bangor1876 Brilliant effort which puts to shame the @EFL clubs who have given up on programmes. Includes all important stats page. Plenty of time to read it too before rearranged fixture!
@BBCSportWales If this the collective voice of the @FAWales then it’s as poor a decision as those it made regularly back in the Alun Evans era. International bosses are judged on results. Rob Page’s haven’t been good enough since Ukraine, his job should be under review as well as the campaign.
@Crossways23 True on those Mike. But Gibraltar is a very poor standard friendly indeed for the @FAWales to put on up north. Anglesey have beaten them about 3 times in the island games. They’d struggle to beat a Conference North side. At least the fringe set got a runout I suppose.
Good to see Big Daf belting it out at #Wrexham tonight. He could have nicked a goal or 2 against #Gibraltar in his youth. Got to be the worst international football team I’ve seen.
@tfwrail@faw They’re not really Nia. A bus replacement to Church Stretton would get me nearer home than Gloucester. Are there many Wales fans in Gloucester?
Tonight is our first home game since the passing of George Andrews.
We have placed flowers and a picture of him in his usual match day seat and we will hold a minute's applause prior to our next home league game.
Rest in peace, George. 🖤🤍
George was also @Signal1Official #crewealex reporter from 1999-2004 when his commentaries on Dean Ashton goals were as loud as his work with the Vale. He was attending Alex pressers long after media cutbacks had hammered local reporting of the club. I’ll miss him. RIP Georgie
We are saddened to learn of the passing of broadcast legend, George Andrews.
An ever-present figure in the Vale Park press box, George will be sadly missed by all.
We send our love and thoughts to George's wife, Christine and his family and friends.
RIP George 🤍🖤
Absolutely devastated to learn this morning of the death of my great friend George Andrews. He was “one in a million” a great character who always had time for anyone. A unique journalist and one who’ll never be forgotten. God bless your soul. TGB
