The Michael movie ends in 1988. Before all the controversies start, it depicts and displays the meteoric rise of the King Of Pop. If you went to school the morning after Motown 25 you know how that felt. I was a sophomore and there were a hundred kids moonwalking in the quad. MTV not playing his videos was a real thing. Thriller had a prime time premiere. My wife and I were surrounded by screaming fans - they sand and screamed at the scene. Gen Z and Gen A are in the sway of this movie. Had a blast. Will be seeing multiple times!
