training breaks the muscle down. recovery is when it actually grows back stronger.
you don’t get stronger in the gym. you get stronger between gym sessions. skip the recovery, skip the gains.
Young man, your minimum base fitness level should be:
• 50 push-ups
• 20 pull-ups
• 50 squats
• 20 dips
