@DerekOrtt I remember Tracy. I had family living in Darwin. They were evacuated after. Tracy was the reason the building codes changed for cyclone prone areas but I think Zelia will be as fierce as Tracy. I just hope no lives are lost.
@CoffeeDateBTS I hope your family are safe. I lived in Karratha and remember cyclone prep and cyclones. It’s 2am and I can’t sleep, I’m thinking of our Pilbara residents. The homes are built well, there are shutters on the windows but I fear there will be lots more than fences getting damaged
@foxweather It will be horrific for our Pilbara. The cyclone is extreme and our summer heat is too. Marble bar is inland from the cyclone and is the worlds hottest town. They are 16+ hours drive from Perth. Their closest major towns are about 7 hours drive.
@TSinLaneCove @DanBox10 even people in WA should speak up…..the behaviour we walk past is the behaviour we condone. We don’t want any state or territory police mishandling cases….. ALL Australians speaking up sends a clear message we want honest, reliable, dedicated police that investigate thoroughly
@DanBox10 Incredible series. The last episode left me speechless…. HOW can laidlaw? be in charge of an investigation when he admits they need more resources but never asks for them, essentially IGNORING the importance of his role & inferring William & other unsolved cases don’t matter.
@klaasm67 How can I find more information on my family please? Opa and oma never spoke to omas sister again because the sister was a collaborator. I know the sister had her Dutch citizenship taken away but I don’t know which jail she was in
@crocker_ic Please keep writing. Mum was dutch. Opa and oma lived in arnhem and bennekom during ww2. Omas sister was a collaborator. Opa and oma weren’t, they came to Australia. But I can’t find Opa’s mum…. I think she was involved in something. No one talks about this
@RoadPolicingWA Well done WAPOL. Appreciate your work in trying to keep us safe.hope the driver visits a head trauma unit to see what happens to innocent people when idiots drive down streets speeding
@perthnow I was with dad for his last 36 hours….active dying. His hands became pale and ashen. The MINUTE he died I leaned in to kiss him and say goodbye. I felt the cold start from his forehead to his chin because his heart stopped. No circulation made him go even paler…. No pink skin
