Today, I represented My Principal, the Honourable Minister of Youth Comrade @ayowisdom_ at the National Assembly for the National Convention on the Representation of Persons with Disabilities in the ongoing Constitutional Reform,
Earlier today, I inaugurated a Technical Committee for the establishment of a Youth Bank. During the inauguration ceremony, I emphasized the committee’s crucial role in creating a platform for young people to access financial support, resources, and mentorship. This initiative is a key part of the efforts of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to empower Nigeria’s youth and unlock their full potential.
I was pleased to see representatives from the Bank of Industry, Central Bank of Nigeria, Federal Ministry of Finance, Nigeria Sovereign Investment Authority, and the Ministry of Youth Development come together to make this vision a reality.
As I tasked the committee with laying the groundwork for the Youth Bank, I emphasized the importance of transparency, accountability, and long-term sustainability. I have no doubt that together, we can build an institution that will sustainably support Nigerian youth.
