I am so encouraged and thankful to see the outpouring of support for Karma, The Loyal Dog. 🩵 She is such a good girl and did not deserve to be abandoned in a park by her previous owner.

Like so many dogs, she loved without hesitation. She trusted completely. And when she saw that car driving away, she did what loyal dogs do… she ran after it, trying to get back to the person she believed would never leave her.

Instead, she was left behind and severely injured. She lost one of her eyes and endured unimaginable pain. But what amazes everyone caring for her is this… she is still gentle. She is still loving. She still leans in for cuddles and wags her tail. 🐾

Karma’s story could have ended that night. But because of kind strangers, dedicated medical staff, animal control officers, and law enforcement who are working together on her case, she now has a second chance.

She is healing in foster care, soaking up love, enjoying treats, and resting in her very own room. Every day she grows a little stronger. Every day she reminds us what resilience and forgiveness look like.

Thank you for standing with her. Thank you for caring. Thank you for proving that while one person failed her, this community will not.
