@HeyZeusMasterB@KyleKulinski Weird how Bill Clinton supported releasing the rest of the Epstein files, so there is literally only one person alive trying to prevent more released. I wonder why. It's a puzzler. π€
@TheAdamOfApples@rtil I'm just commenting on how it's actually kind of uncanny to place what's weird about them. Like I had to think about it for a while. They aren't overtly sexual, but they are matured up in a very specific and subtle way. Like a way that is technically possible, but unlikely.
@NJustaminute@envisionedluna You're hallucinating a lot here so either you should consider seeing a psychologist or you're a bot and I'd recommend seeing a software psychologist.
@NJustaminute@envisionedluna I agree with your premise, that has little to do with what I said. My point being that you cannot simultaneously care about all problems in the world. There are too many problems. There is no objective way to prioritize them, so everyone picks a few to care about.
@BecomingCritter With 8bil people on the planet there are at least 100 people of which all statements are true of. The algo then amplifies the existence of this for engagement. Just one catchy picture of a person becomes a trend. People then exaggerate claims to ride the engagement wave.
@looty68157127@LUksayshi@sleepy_devo@Kiernanisnthere We have that. You can't solve a problem that doesn't exist.
If you mean "it would ease my unfounded fears" β sure, maybe. But the facts haven't done that yet, so...

@sleepy_devo You're missing the meta. 95% of US voters have ID, this was never about ID.
Republicans are building a general architecture of voting friction. ID laws are just the current visible front. They are not stopping at ID laws if you give that to them.
@sleepy_devo@Kiernanisnthere The simple answer is that voter ID is not intrinsically bad, but the political climate of the US doesn't allow it to be coherent.
Dev maybe doesn't quite understand the tragic reality of this in the US being an enlightened Canadian.
@trikcode It's very much the opposite. Most individuals, especially those unemployed, can't afford the amount of tokens you need to burn to be "keeping up with all this AI stuff." IMHO there is a big gap forming between corporate sponsored AI and randos merely spending $200/mo.
If Satan breaks free from hell, seizes the country, and starts spiking people and flaying them alive β someone's will still be out here like "I just can't pull the lever for the other guy. He's only an 80% match on my issues."
@liquidprismata I think he's kinda right that men conform to things that get them sex. It's just that men being into kinks is hardly a real incentive structure.
Like the guy you know a little too into feet isn't usually a sex god.
@bearsockz I grew up around people who cook a lot so I don't really get how people can cook very bad food, unless the ingredients are bad.
Like do you just microwave a can of beans and put cheese whiz on it or something?
