@RealRedSpatula@WARDOGS It's uncommon to get a competent squad of random players together but it's glorious when it does happen.
I haven't seen anyone use the squad designation feature they added.
@hyperkind@elonmusk If something did go wrong and it got out of control it could fly or roll a significant distance with that much force. I'm sure it was all for safety reasons.
You have to take all this with a grain of salt. Airwing is playing with all his streamers buddies in a squad so he has a competent group around him and multiple squad members could carry RPGs so of course it's easy.
The reality is doing this in a random server with random players or completely solo is almost impossible. You are lucky to get two shots off and the tank speeds away unless they are retarded. Once you fire an RPG any enemy player in 100m is immediately locking onto you and hunting you.
@UncSupply@WARDOGS I've been seeing the same. Cheat ads in game chat and ping abuse. One game the server was ddos and warping all over the place but the cheaters were still getting kills in the kill feed.
@AirwingMarine I was irritated that I spent 150k on something I can't use. It is interesting how the price continues to change yet no one can buy gold bars...
It's weird how streamers and basement dwellers think they are the main characters.
It wasn't streamers and basement dwellers who bought 3 million copies of Wardogs. It was working adults with responsibilities who bought the game and when they stop playing the game dies. We have seen this happen over and over.
I fully anticipate the CHUDS who are going to try and shout down everyone "don't be a bitch".
The reality is that streamers and basement dwellers want low level cannon fodder to farm clips. The rest of us all want the same thing fun and COMPETITIVE gameplay. Unbalanced progression by definition is not balanced and fun.
Do you think streamers and basement dwellers bought 3 million copies? ๐ Working adults with responsibilities bought the game and when they stop playing the game will die like we have seen over and over.
It's time to realize that streamers and basement dwellers are not the main characters of this story. Streamers and basement dwellers want low level cannon fodder to farm clips. The rest of us want fun and COMPETITIVE gameplay.
I've seen the bonus consistently when I'm loading the supplies from the crates into the fob. Loading pallets seems inconsistent. I've never had a drill bonus but I do consistently get a bonus if I'm near the drill when it starts and in the HZ when the drill is running.
I think part of the issue is that the number of helis in the air in S2 has dramatically dropped so there are fewer AA kills to earn a bonus from. In S1 I was getting a lot of AA kill assist xp.
@CuriousNewtVR@Barnesz1921@welkri_@AirwingMarine I don't think 3 million copies sold to streamers and basement dwellers. I think they sold to working adults with responsibilities. Streamers and basement dwellers are not the main characters of this story.
I'm honestly curious, did 3 million copies sell to streamers and basement dwellers? I think they sold to working adults with responsibilities and when they stop playing games die. We have seen this over and over. Streamers and basement dwellers are not the main characters of this story.
If that's the case then the current economics of the gaming industry won't work. 3 million copies didn't sell to streamers and basement dwellers. They sold to people with jobs and responsibilities and when they stop playing the game dies. People who play 8 hours a day are not the target audience for gaming. Sorry you aren't the main character in this story.
๐ I fully anticipated the CHUDS coming out to make it about society instead of it just being about a fun and COMPETITIVE game. It's not that deep my guy.
When all the responsible working adults stop buying and playing your games you will have nothing but mobile gotcha and steam henti games to play.
It's the no lifers and streamers who are crying they want to grind all day when no one else is on so they have cannon fodder to clip farm after 5pm and on the weekends. Most people want to play a game that is competitive not a game that rewards streamers and basement dwellers. Explain how it's competitive when day one level one recon is facing level 20 mosin and tier2 armor. It just doesn't make any sense. If this is what the game remains to be then you and your unemployed community will be the only ones playing and the game will die just like so many other unbalanced PVP games.
IMO the root cause of unbalance in every PVP game with progression is the gap between streamers / the unemployed and casuals who have jobs and families. In my opinion, weekly level goals(caps) and a mechanism for casuals to catch up is the solution.
When players hit the level cap for assault that week they can continue leveling playing one of the other tracks. If it's even possible to level all tracks in one week those players can go touch some grass ๐
I think it's toxic to the overall player base to play in a progression system like we have experienced so far during S2.
This game isn't @Battlefield
You can tell because we don't have a $30 "progression unlock" microtransaction for an already $70 game.
> Our game is free.
> Supports real mods.
> Supports real community servers.
> 100% American owned, forever.
Retweet if you want a key.
2.0 update coming soon.
New vehicles, new weapons, new maps, and every @EA "Game Changers" shill is permanently banned from the game.
Come hang. Gonna be fun.
Hopefully you are also willing to admit that it IS significantly more difficult to compete against someone with 20+ levels of unlocks on you. It's not a skill issue. It's simply getting ahead in progression to widen the gap and clip farm lobbies. Obviously, closing that gap is a conflict of interest for streamers.
@Lil_Lexi I has the same unbalance that is in every PVP with progression. The gap between 24/7 players and the casuals with jobs and families. In my opinion, weekly level goals(caps) and a mechanism for everyone else to catch up is the solution.
