Northern Lights from Helena Montana. Went down the road from our house, shot back over the road & caught taillights in my long exposure. Went home at midnight & Lights were still popping off so took photos around the backyard. Amazing to see in person

Got photos of 2 Canada Goose on the pond. Had to crop the fence rails out. Too short to shoot over the top fence rail & birds too tall to shoot between rails. Walked down the grass to the gate, birds flew away. Used #nikon Z7II camera w/FTZ adapter & AF 200-500mm lens #Montana

Frankie had a day filled with water and it’s only mid day in Helena. First a walk to the far pond to splash around. Then walked to the inlet 4 the pond behind our home to splash. I was watering some areas we have grass seed, she was going to get that water. Have a fun filled day

California officially has its largest snowpack in recorded history, passing 1982-1983.

The statewide snowpack is an astonishing 236% of the peak normal and nearly 300% in the Southern Sierra.

Yet another cyclone is bombing out off the West Coast this evening driving yet another strong storm into Northern/Central California.
