Another Dolphin🐬 Comm for me. This one by @skull_fraxr. Everyone check out their work! An amazing job!
Here's hoping DC Comics locks in and puts Tempest and Dolphin back together soon. The Aquaman Family needs more attention!
Love this piece. :D 🐬

I'm not saying DC doesn't love Batman more (They do) but like Superman is hardly ignored.
They are all pissed about Wonder Woman not getting a animated show you promised 3 years ago and Supergirl is getting roasted into oblivion. Now blast out a post about Rick Flag Sr. being the coolest dude ever
@bornposting I think part of it is designed to get people talking and get new readers. Which tbh I think its working at some point, I know I picked up this "Young Romance" issue, despite not being invested in this storyline at all.
But I can see reading it monthly being annoying af
people freaking out about ana nogueira and her script when the bigger problem was how they saw this and decided that the movies main colour palette would be grey and brown
@Samandriade@iREUS_SA I keep thinking this run will be the one that convinces the world to get off the Tom King bandwagon.
He must get no feedback from editorial, or have final word on it because the amount of awful material in this Wonder Woman run has been enough that you'd think DC would step in
I'm 50/50 on most of Tom King's works.
Supergirl? Mister Miracle? Liked it.
Heroes in Crisis? Wonder Woman? Hated it.
Strange Adventures? Unforgivable for what he did to my boy Adam.
I think his schtick is played out personally and he's always elevated by great artists.
@x0Starlight I think Supergirl being the followup to Superman still works for the universe's favor. Back in the day sequels and spinoffs were more directly related and more common than "shared universes." This feels like a Superman spinoff. A failure of a spinoff does not doom the universe
@RichardOcelot Maybe a hot take, but I think on paper the Flash movie seems like a good to deccent script. The execution in the effects, and the most unlikable lead of all time in DOUBLE the screen time did not do that movie any favors.
@comicaccuracy The only thing from the marketing that truly gave me great pause was how generic and flat it looked compared to how gorgeous the comic is. I mean, wow LOOK at that.
@KiraRaptora I keep hoping that maybe Wonder Woman is the run that makes people finally say "enough."
WW might be the one that makes people wake up. It might take him totally ravaging the corpse of Diana for people to begin to wonder if he's actually not a great writer.
@x0Starlight It means 59% of people that saw the movie liked it.
I find Rotten Tomatoes so cringe and how arbitrarily people judge by it when all it does is aggregate the numbers online from critics/audiences.
It's neither the hit DC wanted, nor the flop haters are making it out to be.
