Idk all the infrastructure costs to update Irwindale vs just making a temporary track but I’m sure this makes more sense. Business rules over everything at the end of the day.

Plus, thus temp. track concept can put NASCAR in multiple new markets.

Chris Lamb took the victory while @JessicaBean3 captured her sixth career USAC title.

Here’s how little grip the place has.

This is from January 2019. Took a super late there on 8inch, grooved tires. Never got past 3/4 throttle.

Havasu 95 Speedway.

It’s in my Top-5 favorite tracks in the country. The bottom is nearly flat and the 2nd groove up is banked an extra ~4ish degrees.

Take Bowman Gray, Martinsville’s curbing, progressive banking & no grip you have one of the best short tracks in the country.
