“Blame us. Blame Westminster. Do not blame Brussels for our own country's mistakes and do not be angry at us for telling you the truth. Be angry at the chancers who sold you a lie.”

This should be the story of 2019. Our country has been groomed for decades by shady right-wing lobby groups who refuse to disclose their funders but have season tickets for the BBC, lobby correspondents on speed dial & elected MPs on the payroll. https://t.co/wbOUj25b5J
"There can be no place in a 21st-century parliament for people with 15th-century titles upholding 19th-century prejudices"
Paddy Ashdown on British Politics, 1998
Sad to hear @CrispinBlunt MP on BBC Radio this morning implying that WTO effortlessly replaces the EU. There's no WTO for: science, planes, cross-border healthcare (EHIC), financial passporting & most services, EMA, ERN (rare diseases), ECDC, citizens' rights, Euratom, etc, etc
@GeorgeMonbiot It would be really good if people could start talking in ppm as compared to pre-industrial and indeed the deep time past. This is a large number rather than a small number.
"If we encourage children to look closely at the world, and ask the right kinds of questions, we will set them on the path towards becoming truly scientifically literate” @alomshaha https://t.co/MgtmzPj5Er
The problem is not the man in the middle, but those surrounding him: the media, hanging on every utterance of people who would otherwise be treated as irrelevant.
This is a pathetic abnegation of moral responsibility, @NHM_London. By allowing the Saudi government to use one of our great public buildings for a propaganda event, you help normalise and legitimise it. If you can't see that, you need new leadership. #Yemen
