In January 2023, Chris Banjo received a phone call from Sean Payton around 10:30 PM.

“Hey, I’m in my hotel right now and I’m thinking about you.”

Banjo was taken aback. But this convo started his foray into coaching. Now, he’s already the #Jets special teams coordinator.
