It comes from "niger-latin for Black, like negro in spanish, and was a descriptor for the tribesmen of Africa

It wasn't until the 17 and 1800's that it was turned into a slur by slavers

IMHO If the owner/bouncer is doing it to be an asshole over your heritage that's fucked.

But If its about customer safety, is that not a worth while reason.

I don't attend church, and have never felt the need to, BUT I never stopped my kids from attending if the wanted to.

All 3 of them are married home owning adults in their 20s, and they are all great people.

If it's just a piece of circular cloth, why is it so bad to remove it to meet dress code.
In the states they say no hats to help limit gang violence, with the number of muslims in europe that could very well be why they have that policy

No I was doing it for $5 an hour, and on some of the deliveries I couldn't get the truck and trailer close enough, and had to carry 10 tons of 100# bags 30+ yards to where they were stacked.
It made baling hay seem like fun by comparison.

I was a chubby kid in the 80's I've had every fat insult throw at me at some point.

I grew up as a chubby kid in the 80's and by 2nd grade I learned that they're only words, and they only have impact if you allow them to.
