Let me point something out here.

Our hero shooter may not have scored a hit on the bad guy.
Our hero shooter may have received effective fire when he engaged the bad guy.
Leftist weirdos may try to use these facts AGAINST our hero.

The reason why we cheer is not because he "won" the gunfight. We cheer because in a world full of people running away or recording on their phones, our hero acted selflessly and put his life on the line for others. "Greater love hath no man."

To me, the outcome doesn't matter. What matters is whether or not you have the spine required to fight back against evil when it appears.

The valkyries don't take the winners to Valhalla, they take the warriors.

If modern, soft, liberal people could hear the way we talk to each other in the team room, they'd think we are all racist, terrible humans.
But every dude in that room - regardless of skin color, religion or any other category you wanna apply to us - will kill for you. And he knows that you will kill for him. He is also willing to die for you, and he knows you'll die for him. Take a second and think about that.
I've done other things in my life besides Infantry and Special Forces, but nothing compares to this dynamic. Nothing. It's a level of human bonding that can't be replicated anywhere else.
And the hardest thing ( for me, anyway) was leaving that world for one that doesn't have that commitment.
We love our country.
We love our families.
And we love each other more than we love ourselves.
I'm an old man now, but I miss that high frequency life every day. And I will miss it until I die.

Sorry friends, crazy couple of days. @TheRascallion apparently was called into some super secret meeting about how/if/when aliens become a problem! Question presented was about firepower and what we should have on hand. Word is many suggestions were bandied about but everyone gave a unanimous "Heck yeah dad gummit!" when Rascal suggested a Benelli M4 12ga must be part of the arsenal.

Rascal would neither confirm nor deny that @timburchett was there but I gotta feeling...

This is why mass deportations are absolutely critical. If the child rapist had been deported, he would not have been on the playground stalking another child.

Personally, I'm long past wanting mere deportations. But, deportations are the most socially acceptable means of handling this problem, even though it is far more gracious than these people deserve.

The inability to understand the instinctive ancestral blood memories of what built the Western world is what leads to events like this taking place. If a Somali, papers or not, harasses a White American mother, the knee-jerk societal reaction should be to do things that will be talked about in hushed tones for a thousand years.

Two Millennia ago, the Roman Empire was feared by outsiders such that the utterance of the phrase Civis Romanus sum - I am a Roman Citizen - carried so much weight that conflicts were settled merely by this one phrase. The barbarian world knew that if even one hair on the head of a Roman Citizen was harmed, the entire might of a civilization would rain down hell upon them. Back then citizenship meant something, and God willing, it will mean something in America again one day soon.

We are Americans. We built our civilization too, and it would be wise for the Somalis and all other alien cultures to recognize what we are willing to do to preserve it.
