Say hello to Renee, our first Volunteer of the Month for July!
Renee joined HART over a year ago, and she also has two horses of her own - Hope, and Dancer. Renee says she loves to volunteer because it's a way to give back to the community...and at HART, that means horses!
Ready for a crazy horse fact? Did you know that horses don't have collarbones? Their shoulders are slung from their skeleton with muscles and ligaments!

Thanks, Missy, and all volunteers, for everything you do!
How much do you know about horse ages?
By the age of 4, a horse is about 20 human years old.
When they're 10, a horse is now about 35 human years old.
Feel young yet? When a horse is 20 years old, they're about 60 human years old.

Happy Monday! It's time to check in June's Volunteer of the Month, Missy. We had to ask Missy about her favorite things about HART. So Missy, what's your favorite moment around the farm?
"When the minis nicker and make noises when they see me coming!"
OK - that's pretty cute!
