@BhuttoZulfikar Better to get it from somewhere private (if reliable) or best option Dow Labs (cheap and reliable). Once got tested for HIV from Civil Hospital for a visa requirement. The depressing and fearful environment just outside the specific room made me fearful of tests.

@AmerSharifOFCL Its high time they create a separate category for visiting faculty in universities or other educational institutions. The fact that you are on visiting already implies you are getting much less than full time (in most cases) and yet they get taxed at much higher rate.

The Straits of Hormuz are not international waters as Trump claimed. The narrowest part is only 21 miles wide. UNCLOS defines territorial waters as 13.8 miles from coastline (Oman has ratified UNCLOS, but Iran and US have not).
That means this 21 mile wide waterway is well within the territorial waters of Iran and Oman, with no international waters between them.
Iran is now allowing regulated "innocent passage" of the straits, per customary law, and blocking enemy linked shipping.

The reversal came after Adani hired a new legal team led by one of Trump's personal lawyers.
