The only people that don’t like talking about $ money are people that don’t have it.

I said what I said.

The second you start talking about income, investing, cash flow, net worth, taxes, ownership, or building wealth, some people instantly call it bragging.

But those same people will spend hours talking about sports, celebrities, gossip, clothes, cars, and everything else that does absolutely nothing for their financial future.

That never made sense to me…

Money is one of the most important tools in life.

It buys back your time.

It gives your family options.

It lets you walk away from bad situations.

It lets you take risks.

It gives you the freedom to stop living paycheck to paycheck.

It’s the lubricant of life.

So why would I be embarrassed to talk about it?

Since a very young age, I always wanted to know how successful people make money.

How they invest it.

How they protect it.

How they turn $1 into $10.

What mistakes they made.

What they would do differently.

That’s how you learn…

A lot of people stay broke bc they would rather judge someone talking about money than sit there, listen, and learn something from them.

Being uncomfortable talking about money doesn’t make you humble.

Sometimes it just keeps you ignorant about money.

And ignorance is expensive.

And my kids will never grow up poor.

In my house, we talk about money all the time.

Before school.

After school.

At dinner.

Their favorite show is literally Shark Tank.

They have a goal to be on it one day.

We talk about businesses, investing, ownership, profit, risk, why some companies win, why others fail, and how money actually works.

I want them growing up asking:

Who owns this?

How does this business make money?

What does it cost to run?

What’s the profit?

Is this a good investment?

How can I build something of my own?

I don’t want money to be some mysterious thing they finally start learning about when they’re 25, already in debt, and trying to figure life out.

Like a majority of people…

I want them understanding it before they’re even old enough to make it.

Bc you can leave your kids money and they can lose it.

Or you can teach them how money works and give them the ability to create it for the rest of their lives.

That’s real generational wealth.

My kids will not inherit what I built, but they will inherit the knowledge to build it again from zero.

If you don’t change your mindset and/or understand this, you will stay poor for the rest of your life.

SpaceX has just officially announced Starbase, Louisiana, a new $100+ billion spaceport in South Louisiana near Pecan Island.

Construction starts in 2027, with the first Starship launch from the new site planned for 2029.

Starbase, Louisiana will be built to support thousands of Starship flights a year. This self-sustaining spaceport will have propellant production, power generation, deep-water shipping capabilities, vehicle processing facilities, and an airport.

SpaceX is committed to investing at least $100 billion and creating more than 3,000 new jobs at Starbase, Louisana hiring heavily from nearby communities and utilizing Louisiana workers’ extensive experience of building complex infrastructure in their unique environment.

In Vermilion Parish, the shoreline is eroding between 3.3 and 23 feet per year. SpaceX is partnering with state and federal agencies to expand Louisiana’s Coastal Master Plan and Coastal Wetlands Planning, Protection and Restoration Act projects, including Gulf shoreline protection breakwaters designed to reduce wave energy and slow loss along the Gulf edge.

This photo shows Elon Musk right after his third rocket exploded. He had just lost $100 million of his own money. SpaceX was weeks from bankruptcy, Tesla was struggling, and he was sleeping on friends’ couches.

The media called him reckless, investors pulled back, and everyone told him to quit. But instead of giving up, Elon risked it all on one final launch. If it had failed, SpaceX would have been finished.

The launch succeeded, changing history.

Today, SpaceX is worth $800 billion and dominates the private space industry. Most people quit just before a breakthrough. Elon kept pushing when everything was against him

I can't believe how much I miss Maui.

Now that we live on the East Coast, we've enjoyed visiting the Caribbean a few times, but there is just nothing in America like Maui.

The immediate bliss you feel the moment you step out of the airport.

Getting in that roofless Jeep, and seeing that beautiful water as you head to Wailea, Kaanapali, or Lahaina (❤️🙏).

There’s nothing like arriving at one of Maui’s countless incredible resorts. One example (among my favorites) - and one of the best family vacation hotels in the world - the Four Seasons.

The arrival and lobby areas are simply perfect, with everyone radiating happiness and contentment in the moment.

The drive on the way to Hana - that scenery is surreal.

The lush trees. The waterfalls along the way. That black sand beach. The endless trails that each lead to your own private little hidden piece of heaven on earth.

You want to keep going to get to Hana, but you keep stopping as your eyes are suddenly caught by yet another surreal sight - so crazy captivating it literally makes you pull over.

That surreal bamboo forest, where my wife still has no idea we were actually lost for those ten minutes in 2019, and no, I didn't know exactly where we were going until we ran into that other family.

Leaving the hotel at 3 a.m. for the long drive to the top of the Haleakalā volcano, where you witness a sunrise so breathtaking it’s hard to believe it’s real.

Watching whales catapult out of the ocean right in front of your boat, leaving you in awe. Feeling the warmth of the water wrap around you as you snorkel through a surreal underwater world full of all the colors in the world.

That insane banana cream pie at Monkeypod, and the perfect meal at Spago as you watch the sunset from that outdoor patio.

I miss it all so much, but it's going to be a long time.

A 16-hour trip with young kids just isn't in the cards.

But it will just make it that much more meaningful the next time we get out there.

In the meantime, if you live close enough to visit, never take it for granted. I certainly did.

And if you haven’t been yet, it’s something you just have to experience.

Enjoy it - but you must do one thing: don’t go without renting that convertible Jeep.

Enjoy every minute. I’ll be living vicariously through you.
