Last stop of the night- Artech House. We enjoyed their new “Beyond the Light” exhibit in which they collaborated with Nasa to create this stellar exploration with art, technology, and science.
“Hanging out” at the National Air and Space Museum. We loved the scavenger hunt extra credit opportunity from Ms. Smith. We know these Blazers will take flight and do amazing things in their future. We hope this trip is inspiring them! ✈️🚀🚁
We loved touring the Capitol, and we so appreciate @RepShontelBrown for meeting with us and taking time to answer our questions. We love meeting women in leadership positions! We also stopped on the stairs of the Supreme Court building and heard from Mr. Habig. 🇺🇸

The night walk was an adventure! We visited the memorials for the Vietnam War, Korean War, and WWII. We also visited the Martin Luther King Jr. And Lincoln Memorials. We are headed back to our hotel now! What a jam packed day! Ready for more tomorrow! 🤎💛
We are having a wonderful time in DC! We spent time learning and exploring at the National African American History & Culture Museum and the Renwick gallery. We visited the front of the White House and the souvenir shop. Next stop- The Hard Rock Cafe for dinner!
We had a fantastic time at Planet Word Museum! We highly recommend visiting the next time you’re in DC! Be sure to ask your daughter about it when she returns!
Check out our student leaders laying a wreath at Arlington National Cemetery at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier. We also stopped at the Pentagon’s 9/11 Memorial. 🇺🇸
Beautiful stop at Fort Frederick where we enjoyed walking around the stone fort and barracks built during the French and Indian War in 1756. We also enjoyed our HB bagged lunch under the shade! Next stop- Arlington National Cemetery.
