Today we mourn the loss of Harold Brathwaite, our school’s namesake and former Director of PDSB. An incredible educator, he always fought for equity in education and leaves behind an incredible legacy. You will be missed.

June 1, 1940 – May 31, 2020
He was a major contributor to racial harmony and education in Ontario. He developed and guided initiatives to assist at risk youth in the black communities.
Let’s honour him by continuing his legacy.
