PM Narendra Modi did not inherit a launchpad. He inherited the burden of delayed decisions, weak infrastructure, policy paralysis, broken confidence and a country that had forgotten how to think big.
Since Independence, under multiple Congress governments, India crawled to a $2 trillion economy.
PM Modi’s 12 years: India has crossed $4 trillion. In 12 years, India has moved from hesitation to acceleration. From UPI to ports, from digital infrastructure to defence production, a new India has been unleashed.
And that is a political chargesheet against Congress.
For decades, Congress sold India poverty management as governance, entitlement as economics, and slow growth as destiny. Then they have the audacity to compare India with China, after wasting decades when China was building factories, ports, highways, scale and national ambition.
The China comparison is useless unless Congress first answers one question:
What exactly were you doing for 67 years?
Congress mocked ambition because it never had any.

What has changed in India in last 12 years.....

The nation survived.

they wisely allowed him to proceed.
A risky decision.
History will remember their bravery.
Then came the protest.
Experts predicted millions.
The ground predicted something else.
Even pigeons at Jantar Mantar looked confused.
The media seemed to outnumber the protesters.
And the spirit of Cockroaches was extraordinary.
One Cockroach explained that EVMs are coded in Python.
Gyanesh Kumar heard this, fainted, and was rushed to AIIMS.
Another group demanded resignations.
When asked whose resignation?
Research is still ongoing.
Several protesters were deeply affected by examination issues.

Frankly, this is unacceptable.
Why was nutritious food not provided by Modi Ji?
Why was the Head Cockroach forced to face Delhi heat by Modi?
Modi must answer.
Soros human rights organizations must investigate.
France, India's dear dost, took special interest.
A special guest arrived from France24.
A special speech was delivered.
In front of a large no-crowd.
Then the cultural program began.
The legendary JNU Backstreet Boys performed their greatest hits.
Azadi.
RSS.
BJP.
Capitalism.
Brahminism.
Imperialism.
Kashmir.
Everything was discussed.
Except the original topic.
Meanwhile, the most dangerous section of Indian youth was missing.
The students studying.
The youngsters working.
The candidates preparing.
The people building careers.
Very suspicious.
Very shameful.
They refused to participate.
Instead, they chose jobs, exams, startups, and responsibilities.
It's unacceptable.
Corporate India should take note.
Talent was visible everywhere.
Especially after lunch.
Where plates, bottles, and wrappers were strategically deployed across the venue.
Some wanted to shake Delhi.
They barely disturbed a mosquito.
Overall, a tremendous success.
Nothing changed.
No policy changed.
No system changed.
No government changed.
I am sure Modi and Amit Shah slept peacefully.
Democracy survived.
Delhi survived.
The Sun survived.
And most importantly...
The cold coffee survived.

Slowly bury Atmanirbhar Bharat in defence.
Accept carbon targets.
Reduce coal before alternatives exist.
Allow unrestricted foreign-funded NGO operations.
Accept Western AI rules.
Surrender India's digital future.
Stop pushing for a permanent UNSC seat.
Help dismantle BRICS as an alternative power structure.
A strong government can say no.
A coalition dependent on 10 to 15 partners struggles to.
That is where the story begins.
Now watch the playbook.
The operation has been active since Dec 2024.
The economy will be painted as collapsing.
The Rupee will be portrayed as dying.
Caste census will become a political weapon.
Every caste group will be told it received less.
Narratives will flood timelines. Relentlessly.
Local failures will be pinned on the Centre.

Because the real story is not trending.

In 1991, India was broke.
We loaded 67 tonnes of gold onto a plane.

Enough for barely two weeks of imports.
That was India.
A nation negotiating survival.
Now jump to 2025.
Indian firms went shopping.
Not for groceries.
For companies.
162 acquisitions.
$18 billion spent.
Outbound.
Abroad.
On Western soil.
Up 34% from 2024.
And 2024 was already a record.
In 1991, India pledged gold to survive.
In 2025, India is buying European industry.
Same country.
34 years later.
And that gold?
The same gold that once sat in London as a symbol of helplessness?
India brought it back.
With Indian Rupees.
With your Tax Money.
Quietly.
In 2024.
Gold returned from UK vaults.
Not borrowed.
Not pledged.
Reclaimed.
Today, India holds 880 tonnes of gold.
Worth over $126 billion.
India became the second-largest gold buyer in the world in 2024.
Moving away from dollar dependence.
Settling in rupees.
Dirhams.
Rubles.
Multiple currencies.
Total forex reserves: $700 billion.
In 1991, it was $1.1 billion.
The same gold that once bought survival,
is now buying sovereignty.
But critics are still busy writing obituaries.
Cute.
While they were crying,
India was building another weapon.
Not a missile.
A payment rail.
UPI.
In 2021,
UPI processed 4.18 billion transactions in one month.
In 2025?
20 billion per month.
228 billion in a year.
Visa processes ~200 billion annually.
Worldwide.
India’s domestic payment system did not match Visa.
It lapped Visa.
500 million people.
Transacting daily.
With money they earned.
On infrastructure India built.
Now let me be clear.
I have many issues with this government.
Many complaints for the Finance Ministry.
Many pains as a business owner.
Taxes hurt.
Compliance hurts.
Policy gaps hurt.
And I will keep speaking on that.
But frustration should not become blindness.
When a nation brings back its gold,
Buys companies in Europe,
Builds a payment system bigger than Visa,
And grows despite professional mourners screaming “collapse”.
That story deserves to be said loudly.
The pessimists will keep posting.
The numbers will keep compounding.
The complainers will keep complaining.
That is the thing about prosperity.
It does not ask for permission.
It moves.
Silently.
While most people are still asleep.
Everyone is talking about Annamalai leaving BJP.
Nobody is asking the right question.
Let me ask it.
In 2024, Annamalai led Tamil Nadu for BJP.
BJP won zero seats.
He himself did not win.
In 2026, BJP's vote share in Tamil Nadu collapsed further.
The media is painting him as a victim.
Modi and Amit Shah as the villain.
I am not a BJP supporter.
I am not an Annamalai supporter.
I am not even Modi and Amit Shah supporter.
I support Bharat.
So let me tell you what the media is not telling you.
In May 2024, right in the middle of the Lok Sabha election campaign, Annamalai travelled to Delhi.
Not for a rally.
Not for party strategy.
For a selection interview.
For a fellowship offered by the UK government.
He got selected.
By September 2024, Annamalai was in Oxford.
He stayed there until December 2024.
Twelve weeks.
Fully residential.
The programme is called Chevening Gurukul Fellowship for Leadership and Excellence.
Hosted at Oxford University.
Department of Politics and International Relations.
Only 12 candidates are cherry picked from all of India.
Now here is what you need to know about this programme.
It is not run by Oxford.
It is funded entirely by the UK Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office.
The same ministry that runs British foreign policy.
The programme has been running for 25 years.
It targets India's future political leaders, senior bureaucrats, journalists, NGO heads, and civil society figures.
That means, 300 carefully selected future Indian power-holders.
Shaped inside Oxford.
Funded by Whitehall.
Past alumni include sitting Union Cabinet ministers.
Senior Tata Group executives.
And now, Annamalai.
One stat worth sitting with.
Tamil Nadu NGOs received Rs 6,395 crore in foreign funds in just four years.
Second highest in India.
After Delhi.
I am not saying Annamalai did anything wrong.
I am not saying he was sent there for any hidden reason.
I am simply presenting facts.
But here is what I will watch in the next 18 months.
Watch if international English-language media gives his new movement disproportionate coverage.
Watch if Western think tanks invite him to speak.
Watch if NGOs with foreign funding quietly support his ground operations.
Watch if his Oxford policy paper surfaces in any British foreign policy publication.
I have no verdict on Annamalai.
I have no personal agenda against him.
But I do have questions.
Maybe I am wrong.
Maybe this is a BJP strategy to rebuild in Tamil Nadu through a friendly outsider.
But here is what history tells us.
Britain lost India in 1947.
It never lost its networks.
The question is not whether Annamalai is right or wrong for India.
The question is: who benefits if he succeeds?
That answer will become clear.

And they became richer every time the Rupee became poorer.
$1 = ₹1.
That was 1947.

$1 = ₹95.
Almost 100 times weaker.
Not because India lacked talent.
Not because Indians stopped working.
But because a small club discovered something brilliant.
A weak Rupee can be very profitable.
And they built an entire system around it.
The media rarely names them.
The textbooks never explain them.
The politicians rarely challenge them.
Because many of them eat from the same table.
Meet the invisible empire.
Old money.
Inherited money.
Protected money.
Families that mastered access.
Not innovation.
Access to licences.
Access to ministers.
Access to files that moved only when someone whispered the right number.
India became a toll booth.
A billion people became the traffic.
A foreign company wanted to sell Machines to India.
A foreign agent with deep connect contacts.
A local partner appeared.
Usually from the same circle.
The machine arrives.
The commission arrived first.
The customer paid last.
Research became optional.
Innovation became unnecessary.
Competition became inconvenient.
82% of India's listed companies report zero R&D spending.
Not low.
Not weak.
Zero.
India spends 0.65% of GDP on research.
South Korea spends 4.93%.
China spends 2.43%.
Why build something new when importing is more profitable?
Then came the second partner.
The bureaucrat.
Not elected.
Rarely removed.
Master of delay.
Keeper of the sacred file.
A file could move.
A file could disappear.
A file could sleep for years.
Together.
The connected family.
The IAS Babu.
And the untouchable file.
They shaped industrial policy for decades.
Import first.
Manufacture later.
Maybe.
Then came IT.
India's greatest success story.
Or so we were told.
We maintained software.
Others owned platforms.
We tested chips.
Others designed them.
The British exported cotton.
Made cloth elsewhere.
Sold it back to us.
The model survived.
Only the raw material changed.
This time it was talent.
India trained engineers.
India trained doctors.
Someone else collected the dividend.
36% of NASA scientists are of Indian origin.
38% of US doctors trace roots to India.
The minds left.
The system remained.
And the Rupee kept falling.
A weaker Rupee means costlier imports.
Costlier imports mean bigger deals.
Bigger deals mean bigger commissions.
And bigger commissions create very loyal friendships.
Fourteen Prime Ministers came and went.
The lobby survived.
We never fully left the colonial model.
We simply changed the colour of the uniform.
The real question is not why the Rupee falls.
The real question is who celebrates every time it does.
That answer rarely appears in the headlines.
Because people writing the headlines are sitting at the same table.

18.5 lakh Class 12 students appeared for CBSE Board Exams in 2026.
Their answer sheets were handed to a company with 51 employees.
A teenager reportedly broke into the system within minutes.
This was not innovation.
It was institutional comedy.
CBSE launched On-Screen Marking.
OSM.
The promise?
Transparency.
Accuracy.
Speed.
The result?
Swapped answer sheets.
Blurred scans.
Missing pages.
Portal crashes.
Embarrassment.
Some students opened photocopies of their answer books.
They found someone else's handwriting under their roll number.
Now look at the scale.
18.5 lakh students.
26 countries.
7,574 exam centres.
120 subjects.
98 lakh answer booklets.
40 crore pages.
77,000 teachers logging in.
All processed in 10 days.
And managed by a company smaller than many CBSE schools.
Then came the tender.
Two companies qualified.
TCS.
600,000 employees.
57 years of credibility.
$29 billion revenue.
And Coempt Edu Teck.
51 employees.
Guess who won.
Not the company trusted by banks.
Airlines.
Governments.
Stock exchanges.
The other one.
But there is a twist.
Coempt was once called Globarena Technologies.
The same company linked to Telangana's 2019 Intermediate Exam fiasco.
3.8 lakh students received wrong marks.
Toppers became failures.
3 lakh sought reverification.
20 students died by suicide in eight days.
Months later.
Globarena changed its name.
The memories remained.
Then came the cybersecurity masterpiece.
OTP verification on the browser.
Not the server.
Password resets without old passwords.
Examiner IDs editable from browser storage.
And a master password sitting inside public source code.
No encryption.
No hashing.
Just there.
A School project is much secured and Scalable than this.
Like keeping jewellery outside a jewellery shop with a sign saying:
"Please don't touch."
CERT-In was reportedly informed in February 2026.
The platform went live anyway.
77,000 teacher logins.
40 crore pages.
No fix.
70,000 answer books required rescanning.
15,000 shifted back to physical evaluation.
The digital revolution quietly asked for revaluation.
Then officials defended the system.
And later called IITs to help fix it.
Which is a bit like crashing a bus and then inviting ISRO to explain gravity.
Now comes the uncomfortable question.
TCS was on the shortlist.
TCS lost.
A company carrying the baggage of a past exam controversy won.
How?
Who approved it?
Who reviewed the risks?
Who signed the file?
Nobody seems eager to answer.
NEET chaos.
Now CBSE chaos.
Every year we hear the same slogans.
Student-centric.
Technology-driven.
Future-ready.
Wonderful words.
Terrible execution.
India does not have a shortage of talent.
India has a shortage of accountability.
Mr. Education Minister, will you answer?

India's new hydrogen train runs on 1,200 KW (~1400 HP) of power, more than any other hydrogen train ever built, anywhere in the world. Germany tried it. Japan tried it. India topped them both.
And here's the wild part, it produces zero pollution. No smoke, no diesel, no carbon. The only thing coming out of this engine is water vapour.
Built entirely in India 🇮🇳 by the Integral Coach Factory in Chennai, this 10-coach beast carries 2,500 passengers and is set to run between Jind and Sonipat in Haryana.
This is just Train #1. The government plans to put 35 of these on tracks across India.
