@LakotaMan1 My 2nd GGpa was Winnebago in Wisconsin, but their real name is the Ho-Chunk or Hocąk. If we teach it in school, we should teach it correctly and use the tribes preferred name. Although Winnebago, is the name of the nearby lake, it also means stinking water.
