Since then, thousands of people have used Dreamer to build personal, intelligent software with our Sidekick in the world’s newest and most popular programming language: English!

i tried @dreamer and it is the first AI agent product that actually feels like a personal operating system and not just another chatbot

what it is -> you natural language build an arsenal of AI agents that can handle everything from writing emails, to being your personal trainer, to managing your calendar.

initial impressions:

1. it basically manages my inbox now. I forward stuff to my Sidekick via email, it drafts responses automatically, triages. I could cry at how well it drafts my emails in my voice. everything just… works...on first try?

2. the agent builder experience is unmatched for technical AND non-technical people. you describe what you want in natural language → Sidekick rewrites it into a detailed blueprint you can review → then it builds the entire agent for you. works surprisingly well on first shot and you don't have to overthink the initial prompt.

3. the organization of agents is SO good. every agent has its own triggers, memory, database, UI, functions. and they compose. it's so helpful for context switching, instead of remembering and switching through multiple terminals or chats, every agent is it's own widget in your arsenal

4. nice hack I've been doing: ask Claude Code / ChatGPT / whatever to summarize my full chat history and everything it knows about me → dump it all into Dreamer so Sidekick has full context about your preferences and workflows from day one. massively speeds up the cold start

5. the team is also insane. @dps (ex-CTO Stripe) + Hugo Barra (built Android at Google, led hardware at Xiaomi, ran VR at Meta).

6. as @swyx put it, this is "the most ambitious full stack consumer+coding agent startup" and I agree.

SuperDo is one of my favorite agents I built in @dreamer. Here's the backstory.

I've been obsessed with to-do apps my entire professional life. Back when I was a PM on the Android team in the early 2010s, I helped start Google Keep as a 20% project. For years I remained proud of building a simple, fast and really useful to-do app.

Google Keep is still timelessly awesome, but it's clear to-do's could use some reinvention.

Enter Dreamer.

Over the holiday break, my wife and I set off to try and reinvent to-dos. Our goal was to create an agentic app that just... took care of things. So we built SuperDo in Dreamer.

With SuperDo, all you have to do is enter your to-do as you normally would. SuperDo then creates a sub-agent (via a Sidekick Task) that researches your entire personal context (emails, calendar, msgs, docs) to figure out steps to get that thing done. It'll also automatically update your to-dos -- including checking it off your list for example when it sees an email update. And my wife's favorite feature -- SuperDo proactively turns emails or msgs into to-dos for you.

What's interesting here is that in our previous tech era there would be an _entire_ VC-backed company building this, and I don't think they would have come as far as we did over two weekends building SuperDo.

This is just V1 and there's a lot more work "to do" here, but we think this is a really good start. Try it and let me know what you think!

Started testing @dreamer yesterday and… this might be the vibecoding/agent tool for normies (a term I hate). Super simple to build little tools without deploying anything to a server.

I've been messing with a “Content Command Center” agent that scans tech news and pitches story ideas. I review them and add tags and feedback. Next I need to plug it into Google Docs or Notion.
