Just presented as a guest geologist for my younger sisters grade 4 virtual class with @TDSB_Frankland ! It warmed my heart seeing so much interest in rocks and our Earth! We had so much fun! #creatingnewgeologists #geologyeducation

Love my morning drives through the Cloridorme Fm, Quebec. The folded beds at the top ... 🤩 #Deepwaterdeposits #Fieldwork

[Hannah Brommecker @HBrommecker]

Thanks to Ruby the drone we were able to capture this sweet photo of a plunging syncline shown in the cliff face 🙌🤩 #Turbidites #Rubythedrone

Here is a nifty sand injection to brighten your day #Cloridorme #Fieldwork

@alantbaxter 😂😂

When you forget your measuring tape you can use your handy 164cm field assistant for a quick scale. Here is Maren modeling one of the amazing megaturbidites as well as some flute & groove casts of the Cloridorme Fm. #sedsrocks #Cloridorme #fieldwork

[Elisabeth Steel @Dr_ESteel]

Some beautiful flute casts on the base of a turbidite in the Cloridorme Formation. There's a sneaky lense cap on the ledge for scale.

This plunging syncline in the Cloridorme Fm is 😍👌

It shows up well in the cliff face too but it’s not apparent in this photo.

I’m BACK people! And I couldn’t be happier to be returning to the field studying the turbidite successions of the Cloridorme Fm. Quebec. Stay tuned for more outcrop posts with some gnarly soft sediment deformation. #Sedsissocool #Deepwater #Fieldwork #Turbidites #HEBs @Dr_ESteel

[Hannah Brommecker @HBrommecker]

Some amazing original S1 fabric preserved within S2 ! #metamorphics #structures

Beach sand ripples are mesmerizing 😍 #sedimentology #ripples

[Hannah Brommecker @HBrommecker]

I’m missing the field a little extra today. Thought you all might appreciate this wicked photo of flute casts at the bottom of a turbidite bed. #Fieldwork #Takemeback #CloridormeFormation

🎉🎉Exciting ! #FlumeFriday

[Elisabeth Steel @Dr_ESteel]

Big day over here just in time for #FlumeFriday . We conducted our first ever experiment in the lab! Here is the first turbidity current of many 😍

[Hannah Brommecker @HBrommecker]

@Dr_ESteel I did need this 😂❤️

[AB @AlannaBennett]

Anyway I’ve been laughing at this for two days

[Hannah Brommecker @HBrommecker]

@drrocktagon Thank you! We’re using the Mavic Air 2

[Hannah Brommecker @HBrommecker]

Steeply dipping turbidites and hybrid event beds of the Cloridorme Formation. 🤩 You can see the alternating sand and shale packages! Thanks to #Rubythedrone for capturing this sweet photo. #Fieldwork #Turbidites

[Hannah Brommecker @HBrommecker]

@WGCG_UK This is in the Cloridorme Fm. of Petite-Vallée Quebec! :)
