HCCA JROTC Cadets visited Fort Rucker this past Friday. They received a guided tour of the Army Aviation Museum and the U.S. Army Safety Center "Crash Lab". Their experiences will help them better appreciate military service as well as explore military careers.

HCCA is strengthening our simulated workplace model this year! Our goal is create a workplace culture. Student employees are clocking in, utilize employee handbooks, assigned roles in their departments and we will be recognizing employees of the quarter.

Dual Enrollment Interest Meetings! 2 chances to attend: 3/5 and 3/11 both start at 6PM at HCCA. This is a great opportunity to get familiar with the classes we will be offering for the upcoming school year and get questions answered by college representatives! See ya there!

Students/groups who placed 3rd or higher will advance the State Competition, which will be held in Birmingham later next month.

Last Friday was the District SkillsUSA competition at Wallace College. The Information Technology students placed 2nd in the Quiz Bowl event. Automotive had a student place 3rd in the Automotive Technology event and another place 6th in Job Interview. Congrats to these students!
