HCCA JROTC Cadets visited Fort Rucker this past Friday. They received a guided tour of the Army Aviation Museum and the U.S. Army Safety Center "Crash Lab". Their experiences will help them better appreciate military service as well as explore military careers.

HCCA is strengthening our simulated workplace model this year! Our goal is create a workplace culture. Student employees are clocking in, utilize employee handbooks, assigned roles in their departments and we will be recognizing employees of the quarter.
It’s been a great first week at HCCA! Students have already learned so much from simulated workplace to packing wheel bearings with grease by hand. It’s going to be a great year watching these students become college and career ready! #SoarinCTE

Last Friday was the District SkillsUSA competition at Wallace College. The Information Technology students placed 2nd in the Quiz Bowl event. Automotive had a student place 3rd in the Automotive Technology event and another place 6th in Job Interview. Congrats to these students!
