At the @glo_pro launch of a new prosperity index for London at @LondonLegacy. With a focus on #EastLondon (inc #Hackney), I’m keen to see how @hackneycoops can contribute towards an inclusive economy, and really unpick the meaning of #prosperity to our communities

I’ve spoken a lot with Philip, and @MPSDalston, about the escalation in crime/ASB at GS and Bradbury Street. You’re right; business owners and residents should not have to endure what has happened of late. @hackneycoops has its role to play too.

Finally, we are hoping to recruit a Community Manager in June/July, who will liaise with businesses, users of the square, LBH and all stakeholders. 5/5

I’m not ready to throw my toys out of the pram because a) there has been action and b) positive dialogue. This just needs to turn into action - I think it will. 2/n

@LovingDalston @sarahjatkinson Thank you. There’s still some work to be done (as was evidenced by the responses to the #DalstonConversation) but I’m optimistic that a joined-up approach with LBH, police and others is achievable.
