This is a team that I will never forget but luckily we have no seniors. Hopefully everyone comes back but if so I will be more then happy to wish them good luck to their future.#6thman
Couldnโt be more proud of what this team has accomplished. Unfortunately we fell to the feet of Indiana 65-56. But that does not undermine what we have done this year. From going 1-2 in the first tournament to being ranked and knocking off #1 Oregon in the tournament.
Trap game it is. Texas A&M knocks off #1 Oregon in a absolute nail biter 76-75. Freshman Chris Gandy shows he is unfazed in the big lights as he drops 27. Oregon had a great season and they gave us a great game. Welcome us to the Sweet 16 as we go up against #4 Indiana. #6thman
Aggies pull out a massive win over #9 Michigan State 65-64. Tyrell Claiborne drops 23 in the mostly defensive battle. Loved to see the boys having fun and doing what they know. Now we face #1 Oregon in Portland. Did someone say trap game?#6thman
The Aggies grab the #8 seed West Regional. We will face #9 seed Michigan St. in the first round on Friday. Although I feel they should be ranked higher we will have the boys ready for battle. Looking forward to the Madness.#6thman
Texas A&M wins the first game of the SEC tournament trouncing Alabama 84-68. Freshman Chris Gandy drops 22 in a great all around effort. The second round was not so much in our favor losing to Kentucky 78-61. This week was only good news for our tournament chances.#6thman
Texas A&M closes out the regular season going 3-2 (20-8)with a huge win for our resumรฉ beating #6 Florida. Bryon Skinner led the charge pouring in 23. We now head into the conference tournament as the #5 seed facing Alabama as we hope to make some noise. Grab the popcorn.#6thman
Always great to meet up with two old friends after our games with @HCGameocks and @AuburnCbb. Two great coaches on and off the court. Much respect to them and their programs.
Newly ranked #17 Texas A&M starts off hot in SEC play going 4-1 and improving to 14-3 overall. The lone loss going to an outstanding Kentucky team. Tyrell Claiborne was our leading scorer 3 of the 4 winning games dropping a high of 27 against a great South Carolina team. #6thman
Texas A&M jumps all way the up to Number 17 in the nation following their 3 wins. We are charging into SEC play full steam ahead. Look out for the marquee matchup of the week as we welcome #10 Kentucky into College Station. Go Aggies.#6thman
Aggies just keep on their winning ways improving to 10-2 on the season beating a good Pacific team in OT 91-87,and then following it up with 2 more wins against Northwestern and UAB. Tyrell Claiborne lead attack with 26 in a great team effort.#6thman
Aggies win big against Oregon St (86-56), Loyola Chicago, and Iona as we move to 7-2 on the season. Freshman Chris Gandy pours in 23 against Loyola Chicago and Bryon Skinner with 20 against Iona. We head back at home to College Station. Get Rowdy.#6thman
Your Aggies went 3-0 (4-2 overall) beating Grand Canyon, Purdue Fort Wayne, and Georgia Tech. Grady Spruill, usually known for his renowned defensive skills dropped a season high 28 points. We stay home to play Loyola Chicago then pack our bags to travel to Oregon State. #6thman
Next two games were both heartbreakers losing 77-72 against #21 ranked G-town and 70-64 against an extremely tough West Virginia press. Although itโs not the outcome we were hoping for it is a learning lesson for our young boys. Great to face competition so early on this season.
First off I would like to thank Coastal Carolina for hosting The Myrtle Beach Invitational at their beautiful campus.
Your Aggies won the first round opener against an underrated Tennessee State team 72-70. Tyrell Claiborne dropped 17 points in a very balanced attack.
Thanks again to @HCDingus, always a pleasure to play in Reed Arena. With a nonconference game scheduled against Michigan early on in the season, the team will need to have an understanding of how higher-level competition plays. Final Score: 87-52 Aggies
