As we approach the 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence, donโt forget that you can see copies of the document at the Museum! The Charters of Freedom Monument includes the Declaration of Independence, the Bill of Rights, and selected amendments.
Once harvested, onions need to be air cured for 2-4 weeks before the tops and roots can be cut off and the onions stored for use. These white onions can be added to canned foods or pickles, fried up with meat, or added to sausage.
