After learning about kindness, the #HCSPreschool scholars in Amy Atcher’s class @LakewoodBruins made the Grinch’s Heart grow 3 sizes.❤️ He made a surprise visit & gave them Grinch slime for being so kind!🟢 These #LittleBruins loved the Grinch!🫶🏽 #HCSBetterTogether #GrinchFun

HCS will pay 1/3 of the staff member's tuition at Western Kentucky University (WKU College of Education and Behavioral Sciences). When they have completed the requirements for that teaching certification, they will teach for Hardin County Schools for at least three years. (2/2)

15 HCS staff members have signed letters of intent to begin the process of becoming certified teachers.
The HCS Grow Your Own program helps classified staff members (those whose job does not require a teaching certification) become certified staff, allowing them to teach. (1/2)

Leadership skills, personality traits, communication skills, and team work.
