Today, we gathered in solidarity to stand against racism. We walked together to reach across divisions and take a step to create an equitable society. During the @DukeHealth “Moment to Movement” walk, team members advocated for change to address racism and social disparities.
Sick with COVID-19, Takia Morrison had a seizure and needed an emergency c-section. She was transferred to @DukeHospital for life-support. Two months later, she was discharged and met her newborn son, Kylan, for the first time.
