Day three of our Pre-@abcptza Lightning Developer Bootcamp in Cape Town was electrifying! ⚡️🇿🇦

Building on the momentum from day two, today pushed participants deeper into Bitcoin Core. They connected directly to their own local nodes to build a mempool explorer and took on an assignment to create a simple UI that can send testnet bitcoin from one user to another using their own Bitcoin node.

From there, we made the transition into the Lightning Network. We explored Lightning nodes, different implementations, payment channels, routing, and how Lightning works under the hood. This set the stage for what’s coming next.
