@TheBlackElixir I disagree that it needs to have a marketing rethink like is being suggested. It 100% needs to leverage the men’s game - it’s the same product. Football as a whole needs to move towards a more inclusive environment and differentiating mens/women’s game only perpetuates that.
@TheBlackElixir Genuinely the one thing Arsenal do well. Women’s football is and has been sick for a long time, just had no exposure and clubs are scared of the sadly telegraphed sexist reaction from fans promoting it
@TheBlackElixir I hear you… but tbf you could say anyone that has won the World Cup has had a better career than anyone that hasn’t as it is the holy grail and something the most successful footballers would probably trade their whole trophy cabinet for.
@TheBlackElixir Napoli yes… but Inter and AC never really got a look in during those years. Juve were really good, yes, but PSG almost won CL last year so you can say the same about them too?
@TheBlackElixir 8 league titles (2 🇪🇸/ 3 🇧🇷/ 3 🇫🇷), CL, has carried a largely average Brazil team (for their standards) for his whole career. Only thing Pogba has that betters Neymar is a WC but that’s in a France team full of generational talents. Was out of interest, I don’t agree tho.
