Tomorrow is Hoodoo Day of Healing and we're hosting a Community Care Clinic on the South Side of Chicago!!! So excited to make care packages with y'all and to link folks with the amazing orgs we partner with who make healthcare services accessible to black folks on the South Side & beyond.

We'll collectively be offering vital health screenings conducted by licensed midwives, ear seeding & acupuncture, and signing folks up for free first responder trainings. These trainings teach community members how to respond to emergencies such as asthma attacks, gunshot wounds, first aid/ cpr and drug overdoses.

Attendees will be able to meet & talk with local midwives who provide a wide range of reproductive and gender-affirming care services.

Attendance is free. Refreshments are included! Donations are being accepted!

idk how to explain how cultural appropriation is a very american concept. it is the result of the way white people in America suck everything here dry so badly that we HAVE to gatekeep. but non-americans actually love when other people wear their clothes & adapt their culture.
