Global Heart Hub was at the European Orthopaedic Research Society (EORS) conference in Davos today, where our EU Projects Manager, Marta Bragagnolo, presented at the event. Joined by Yasemin Zeisl from the European Patients’ Forum, the two discussed the importance of patient engagement in Early Feasibility Studies, as part of the HEU-EFS project.
Together, they shared key insights from patient consultations and the HEU-EFS Patient Advisory Group, highlighting how involving patients early in translational research leads to better-aligned, more meaningful clinical investigations. 💡
The session also addressed common barriers to patient involvement, from communication gaps to lack of support, and shared practical strategies to foster stronger collaboration between patients and researchers.
The presentation was followed by an insightful panel discussion among experts and attendees, to whom we thank for your contribution and engagement. We look forward to continuing the advancement of patient-centred research together. 💪
