Happy Girlfriend’s Day, baby. Thank you for being my favorite person, my best friend, and the one who makes every day brighter. I’m so lucky to have you and I love you so much.
One of the most underrated blessings in Marriage is having a woman who can confidently express herself.
A woman who isn't afraid to say "no" when something crosses the line, who stands up for herself and her family, and who refuses to entertain disrespect or unwanted advances.
Some people may call her "rude" or "too strict," but often she's simply protecting her home, her values, and the people she loves.
Confidence, self-respect, and healthy boundaries are qualities that strengthen a family.
The hardest part about getting into a new relationship isn't always trusting someone again...
It's preparing yourself for the constant calls, endless conversations, and starting all over from scratch. 😔💔
Whenever you're given an opportunity to introduce yourself before a congregation, meeting, or gathering, don't just stop at your name. Briefly mention what you do, your profession, business, or the skills and services you offer.
Some people may call it pride, but what if that's the very moment your next opportunity is created? Your future employer, client, business partner, or mentor could be in that audience.
Never be afraid to market yourself. One introduction can change your life.
I believe I'm making some sense. 🤔
Caroli Omondi remains a serious power broker in Kenyan politics.
Omondi has previously spoken openly about bankrolling hundreds of millions spent on ODM in 2013 and 2017. Now that same capacity is being deployed to position Sifuna at the high table of opposition negotiations.
The Suba South MP has confirmed that the Linda Mwananchi movement will become a full political party and will nominate Nairobi Senator Edwin Sifuna as its presidential candidate ahead of 2027.
Buana elavating Sifuna from Senate backbencher to the centre of opposition coalition talks, Sifuna’s rapid rise is being actively driven by Omondi’s organisational and financial muscle.
Fear that guy!
Men
Life can be very hard for a long time, and you may feel unsure about your future especially when you work hard and see no progress or evidence.
But the most important thing is to keep believing in yourself, to keep showing up and not quit. We shall be there 🙏
Let’s attack 💪
1. Jomo wanted to make a Kisii VP, but Kisiis failed to unite
2. Kibaki wanted Wamalwa to succeed him, but he died
3. Kibaki then wanted Kalonzo to succeed him, but Kamba numbers couldn't guarantee a loss for Raila
4. Uhuru wanted Raila to have it, but Azimio kiburi failed Baba
It breaks my heart when I see women especially young girls sleeping with all sorts of men just so she can afford some basic needs. Poverty ni mbaya akiamungu.
Freedom is an opportunity to exercise discipline.
It is what you do when no one is watching that defines who you are as a person. You can lie to the whole world. But you can never lie to yourself.
Moi's 2002 game plan
1. Divide GEMA like 1992
2. Bank on Kale bloc vote
3. Unite Western through Luhya VP
How things fell apart
1. GEMA in 1992 (Kibaki 36% Matiba 60%), 2002 (Kibaki 69% Uhuru 30%)
2. Western Mudavadi (Kibaki 77% Uhuru 21%)
Western failed Moi. It didn't unite.
As things stand, the 10 Mt Kenya counties have 8.2 Million votes. If you add 35% of Nairobi, we’re approaching 9 Million hungry & angry hyenas. Ni mbaya
In 07/08, Kalonzo saved Kenya from civil war. If he'd joined Ruto, he would've opened up Kikuyus to attack in Ukambani. Machakos borders Muranga & Kiambu. There would've been no buffer zone. Also, flare ups in Nairobi would've been ungovernable. Kalonzo saved Kenya. GEMA owes him
Kuna njama inatumika siku hizi na Madem...
Unapanga date na dem, but anakusho since she's alone uende tu kwa keja yake, unachunguza unasikia ni kweli hakuna ndume inaendaga hapo.
Unafika pale maybe unafanya some shopping, mnakula then ikifika time ya kuingia Bukhungu, anatext mamorio wake wawili ama watatu wenye anachapaga deal na wao.
Wasee wanakam na fujo asking you who you are, the lady seriously act like you're the Main boyfriend and the other one is just ex, she defends you as they mishandle you, they don't harm you but some few slaps, take your phone, money and some valuable stuffs. The lady 'protects' you to her best until you feel loved.
Then hapo unarushwa nje na kuambiwa you disappear... You leave with nothing! 🤔💔
Imagine this scenario - a woman posts a photo of herself on Instagram after applying all the makeup and filters, and receives 10,000 likes and 1000 comments.
If out of the 1000 comments, 995 people are marvelling at her beauty while 5 people say how she is not good looking and only relies on makeup and filters, the lady is likely to ignore the 995 positive comments and only respond to the 5 negative ones. She will even get irritated and her self-esteem punctured.
Are human beings inherently wired to seek for concurrence and acceptance?
