Again, boomers. No generation has shown less support for 3rd party or independent candidates than the boomers. This is their system.

Political discourse over the past decade has centered around love or hatred for Trump.

Prior to that, social security was the lighting rod issue. 80% of Boomers would vote against any proposal to change the system. They prioritized getting theirs in what everyone knew was a broken system, but boomers refused to fix.

This became a massive voting bloc around a single issues. No candidate could even touch it without losing their electorate. So both parties avoided.

If you’re advocating for bringing criminal charges against all elected officials for failing to act in the best interest of the American people, and you have a plan to accomplish that….I’m fully supportive. In lieu of that plan, I’ll begrudgingly accept the best case scenario with the limited options I’m given.
