Yesterday, we held our Bilingual Celebration for our Spanish Immersion students! Each year, we recognize the incredible progress these students have made and the work the Lord is doing in their lives. This day is especially significant for our First Graders, as it marks the occasion when they receive their Certificates of Bilingualism. From this point forward, they will speak only in Spanish in class! We are grateful for this program, which truly embraces our mission "To Know Christ and Make Him Known," both in Charlotte and around the world.

Today in Chapel, our students learned what it means to have self-control! Pastor Campbell preached out of James, while Pastor Jacob spent time in Proverbs today. During our Lions Connect, Pastor Jacob also talked about self-control with our parents using the book “What Do I Say When…” by Dr. Andrew Walker.
It was a great day to worship together!
Potential teachers, we’re excited to invite you to our very first Teacher Job Fair at Hickory Grove Christian School. Come learn more about who we are, our heart for Christian education, and how you might be part of what God is doing here.

Yesterday, we hosted our first-ever Career Fair! Students connected with professionals from law, healthcare, trades, law enforcement, and the military, gaining real insight into future opportunities. Our juniors and seniors also had the opportunity to sit down with these professionals to learn more about their careers and journeys, and ask them questions.
Huge thanks to every speaker and volunteer who made the day a success!

On Friday, we hosted our 3rd Annual Veterans Day Breakfast to honor the men and women from our school and church community who have faithfully served our country.
Today, we thank you, we are grateful for you. For your service, sacrifice, and leadership for this nation.
Each year, our Fiber Crafts class presents the Threads of Honor quilt to a veteran whose courage and dedication inspire us all. This year’s recipient was Captain John Bryan, who served aboard the USS Forrestal in 1967 during a tragic explosion and fire. His story is one of strength, resilience, and service.
Thank you to the teachers, students, staff, and administration who made this special morning possible.
What an incredible night! Thanks to your generosity, the AAA Silent Auction raised over $35,000 to support Athletics, Arts, and Academics at Hickory Grove.
A heartfelt thank-you to our donors, sponsors, and every guest who made this evening possible — your support continues to make a lasting impact on our students and programs!
