Students are taking out books from our foreign languages section, writing down any unfamiliar words and researching their meaning. This is recorded on slips in the back of each text, creating a glossary of commonly misunderstood phrases for each MFL text in our library. (4/4)
Over the last 2 weeks at HGHS Library, we've been focusing on developing reading skills across different languages. We started with a quiz on common sayings and phrases in German, French and Spanish from 22nd Nov-26th Nov. (1/4)
Finally, there is an MFL/library competition based on the research and reading skills they developed in this week's lessons, open until the end of term. (3/4)
